OFFICERS' BIOS:
 

Jerry E. Vaninetti : ( Vice President )

Based in Denver , Mr. Vaninetti is responsible for project development in the Western U.S. focusing on grid expansions involving new and upgraded transmission lines in the WECC, many of which are planned to serve remote generation projects. Currently, his primary activities are directed at Trans-Elect's public/private partnership with the Wyoming Infrastructure Authority and Western Area Power Administration involving the TOT 3 transmission constraint located along the Colorado-Wyoming border and the High Plains Express project in partnership with seven utility stakeholders.

Mr. Vaninetti has more than 30 years of experience in the technical, market, and economic aspects of the North American electric power industry with a focus on fuel supply, wind and coal project development, generation/transmission public policy, and project feasibility. He has extensive experience as an expert witness and as a speaker at power industry and FERC conferences.

Mr. Vaninetti earned a Bachelor of Science in geology from Washington State University and a Master of Science in geology from the University of Utah .
