Fred Buckman : ( Chairman Emeritus )

Fred Buckman is Chairman Emeritus and one of the founders of Trans-Elect in 1999. Prior to his work with Trans-Elect, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of PacifiCorp from 1994 to 1998, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Consumers Power Company (now Consumers Energy) from 1988 to 1994. He has over 37 years of experience in the electric and gas utility business. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Science Engineering (1966) and he received a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
