Ed F. Stoneburg, P.E. : (Project Consultant)
Vice President, Transmission Support Services
Mr. Stoneburg is an associated project consultant with Trans-elect. Previously, he spent three years as the Vice President of Transmission Support Services for METC in charge of its transmission strategy and activities involving FERC, RTO, regulatory, and contracts and tariffs administration.
Before METC, Mr. Stoneburg spent 15 years at Illinois Power where he held various leadership positions in resource planning and regulatory strategy. He was also a principle member of the management team for the start up and operation of Illinova Energy Partners, an unregulated affiliate of Illinois Power. Mr. Stoneburg also worked for Consumers Power Company (now Consumers Energy) for nearly 12 years in a variety of positions in distribution and transmission operations, and maintenance and construction.
Mr. Stoneburg earned his Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and his Master of Science in electrical engineering from Michigan State University . He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Michigan and is a member of the IEEE.
